Alicia was amazing to work with and we've recommended her to many friends and co-workers! She is patient, kind, enthusiastic and really takes the time to get to know you and your family to help match you up with the house that is right for you. Alicia walked us through all the details of buying and  inspecting a house with ease. My parents also had her help in buying a house when they relocated to Portland after retiring. Alicia is a "people" person and is readily available for her clients' needs.  She has a broad network of local service people such as contractors, stagers, electricians, plumbers, etc. who respond quickly to evaluation and repair needs when Alicia contacts them.  She has a great sense of humor and  is a "real" person, not a fake eager-to-please agent who really is just in it to close a deal.  
I think one of Alicia's greatest strengths is her ability to read people.  My husband and I, after more than a year of looking, found our perfect home.  Unfortunately the sellers had already received a full price offer.  By paying attention to the home's design, furnishings and "feel," Alicia surmised the owners were artists who would think the right buyer for their home was more important than the selling price.  She advised us to write a letter to the sellers explaining what we loved about the house and how we envisioned our family living there.  She was completely right.  The sellers took our offer and refused to accept a bidding war with the other potential buyers.
